CARNATION - The flower of September

The Carnation grows in the temperate regions of the Earth and its scientific name (Dianthus) come from the greek and means 'flower of the gods'. It is also a symbol of dignity, virtue and nobility. Each color has a special significance: the deep red represents love, loyalty and passion, the white represents fidelity, while yellow is the color of anger, the green carnation symbolizes everlasting love.
