CARLA FRACCI

Carla Fracci (born 20 August 1936 in Milan, Italy) is an italian ballet dancer. She became first dancer in 1958. Between the end of the fifties and during the seventies dance with some foreign companies, such as the London Festival Ballet, the Sadler's Wells Royal Ballet, the Stuttgart Ballet, and the Royal Swedish Ballet. In the years following her performances are: Il pomeriggio di un fauno, Eugenio Onieghin, La vita di Maria, A.M.W. La bambola di Kokoschka, La primavera romana della signora Stone. From 1996 to 1997 she directed the dance troupe of the Arena in Verona. On 16 October 2004, Carla Fracci was named Goodwill Ambassador of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
