On Sunday 16 August, the community of Marniga is preparing to experience a special day for the celebrations of San Rocco, combining moments of deep devotion with an evening of great entertainment and light-heartedness. The day’s programme opens in the morning: from 10:30 am, Holy Mass will be celebrated, a traditional appointment eagerly awaited by the faithful to honour the Saint. The festivities come alive in the evening when, at 9:00 pm, the spotlights switch on in the charming setting of Marniga’s square. The stage will host the unmissable tribute concert “Lucio e Lucio”, with the band Movietrio paying an extraordinary homage to two absolute pillars of Italian song: Lucio Dalla and Lucio Battisti.
