Technical spots between sheer cliffs and deep water: Campione del Garda is one of the most spectacular kite spots in Europe.
Campione del Garda is a former workers' village wedged between the cliff and the water, on the Brescia shore. There is almost nothing here: a beach, the wind and the mountains that fall straight into the lake. It is precisely for this that it has become one of the most photographed kite spots on the continent.
The wind is the same as for windsurfing — Peler and Ora — and the local schools offer certified courses, from your first kite on land to riding independently. L’acqua è profonda: non ci si tocca, quindi il corso con istruttore e barca di assistenza è d’obbligo per i principianti.
