Lake Garda is an immense playground for sailing. The clubs along the coast organise courses for adults, outings on cabin cruisers with a skipper and dinghy rental. The steady wind and the absence of currents make the lake the ideal place to learn to read the air.
In summer, regattas follow one after another: the most famous is the Centomiglia, which in September fills the lake with historic and modern sails. And if you prefer not to exert yourself, there is always the loveliest option: setting out under sail at sunset, engine off, and letting yourself be carried along.
